Banquet waiter = Catering staff

This type of service is not classified as regular restaurant service, but more like banquet hall and catering, and the staff are not traditional waiters but are called catering staff.
They act like robots and there is hardly any room for improvisation as all serving and unveiling is done on order for all staff.
A person who is a supervisor is responsible for supervising and planning the work tasks. They make sure that each step is carried out on time.
Examples of parties that will be eating include wedding guests or companies that have recently held a conference. The food is pre-ordered and served as a single dish to the whole group, just like on an assembly line in a factory.
