In order for the waiters to be able to focus and provide customer service, there must of course be a supervisor during the shift.
In a normal restaurant, there is a staff line-up in addition to the kitchen staff.
Restaurant manager: The person who sets the structure for how the service staff should work.
Head waiter: The right-hand man of the restaurant manager, who maintains the existing structure. Leads the work, is ultimately responsible during the shift and supports the wait staff in their tasks.
Waiter 1°: When the Head waiter is not present, this waiter takes responsibility and leadership during the shift.
During each shift, there should of course be a responsible supervisor who ensures that everything runs smoothly during the guest’s visit.
