One word that should never be mentioned in front of a guest is the word tip, not even as a joke. If the guest raises the question, avoid answering by using that word.

Payment where the guest should check the amount of the bill. Then the guest is instructed on what to do on the payment machine. A simple and direct sentence such as -check the bill and its amount, and enter the total amount you want to pay, in some cases there are payment machines where the guest has to calculate the amount they want to add on top of the bill, when the question comes about how to do it, instruct them without mentioning the word tip aswell, instead use the words “on top of the bill amount”

A waiter does not work to get a tip, you should never count a tip, it is just an extra nice gesture from the guest.
